| Cherry Coke is another
favorite of mine. Again my thanks go to Mike and April Hitch for allowing
me to bring this lovely doe home last year. Coke is a very stylish doe
and she is very correct throughout. She is very level over her topline and
wide through the chest and escutcheon. She shows tremendous spring of rib
and body capacity and stands on a very correct set of feet and legs.
Coke freshened with a beautiful mammary and lots of milk as a two year old. She had a very high, wide mammary with a beautiful, correct escutcheon, lots of area of attachment and a long, smooth fore udder. She was shown several times in 2009 and was 1X 1st and 3X 2nd (to Kricket). Unfortunately Coke aborted in February last year and was dry throughout 2010 leaving her a bit chunky when she freshened in 2011. To top that off she had an extremely difficult kidding this year and it has greatly affected her milk production. She is still our beautiful doe but is carrying too much weight to be competitive this year. We are hoping that she will have a more normal kidding and more normal milk production in 2012 and we look forward to her freshening then. Coke is a 3/4 sister to Shady Lawn Beauty, Belle, Blonde, Bedazzled....all the B girls at Shady Lawn farm so we expect great things from this lovely young doe.
