Flashy was the last kid born
before we lost our precious Grey. She is a smaller framed doe with a
large, correct, capacious mammary. She may never be a champion doe and
in the fall of her yearling milker year a friend talked me into selling
her, a move that I have regretted every day since. Fast forward to this
winter when I saw that Flashy had been sold and was again up for sale.
And that was when my heart kicked in and I knew we had to bring this
little girl back home where she belongs. Sometimes there are more
important things than champion rosettes...sometimes it just matters that
a doe brings you joy and helps heal a tiny bit of the loss of her dam.
So Flashy will remain here for the rest of her days...where she belongs.
Flashy will be bred to Sins
for February 2024 kids. 1st doe will be retained. $600
