When the buck kid we had reserved turned out to be
a doe for the 2nd year in a row, we started to look around for similar
genetics to add to the herd and happened upon Maverick. We have long
admired the dam line and the sire line was just what we were looking for
to continue line breeding on our current bloodlines.
Maverick is a big boned, powerful young buck standing on very correct
feet and legs. We admire his depth of body, width of chest and spring of
rib while retaining his dairy strength.
Mav's first kids excelled in general appearance.
They were all extremely level over their toplines, wide in the chest
floor and escutcheon and stand on extremely correct feet and legs.
Mav will be used on several of our young does this fall.
