Prue has always been one of my absolute favorites much like her dam. She is a very tall, upstanding doe that is very sharp over the withers and blends smoothly through her neck and shoulders. She is very wide and level throughout and stands on a very correct set of legs. Prue freshened as a nearly 4 year old with a lovely mammary with a very nice, wide escutcheon and lots of capacity.

Prue's dam, Marina, was one of our best does. She was GCH and BOB at the District 4 LaMancha Specialty and BUIS at the CVDGA show in 2007. Marina earned her SG designation this past summer. Sadly we lost Marina to kidding complications last year so Prue is very special to us. Prue is very much like her dam and we continue to be excited about the Sunny X Calypso cross.

Prue really came into her own last year. She freshened with tons of milk and an even higher, wider rear udder. She earned her SG designation, was 2X 1st and 1X GCH, BOB and BUOB this summer and then appraised EX 91 (EEEE). She gave us a lovely Firestorm daughter and son this past year. The son now resides in the Cash Farms herd in TX.

Prue was 3X 1st and 1X GCH, BOB and BUOB in 2010

We were terribly disappointed when Prue suffered an injury from a bossy dry yearling and reabsorbed her pregnancy this past winter. She has been dry throughout 2011 and we look forward to breeding her back for 2012.
