Rainy was another doe that joined our herd last
fall. She is a big, powerful doe that is extremely long and level. She
has really developed her body capacity and spring of rib over the last
few months. She stands on very correct feet and legs and has a
beautifully attached mammary, very high and wide in the rear and very
long and smooth in the fore. Unfortunately, Rainy freshened very uneven
this spring and has been hard to even up to show her. With an even
udder, this doe will be a force to be reckoned with!! The one show she
has attended so far, she was 2X 2nd and 1X RGCH. Rainy also does not
like to be shown so tends to not make milk and not eat or drink. Time
will tell if she will calm down and accept the tanbark trail or if she
will simply be a lovely brood doe.
Rainy does know how to milk and she is rock solid
at home. Nothing bothers her and she is projected well into the mid
3000# mark. We truly love her beautiful paternal granddam, Because of
Karen, and think this doe will make her mark in the future.
Rainy will be bred to Win for March kids. 1st
doe retained. 2nd doe and bucks $600.
