Sunflower is the last of the
Daisy
daughters and the most
like her beautiful dam....she reminds me so much of Daisy!
Sunflower is a little smaller doe with very strong dairy character
and an extremely correct and lovely mammary system. Her weakest
point is her general appearance in that she has slightly bowed legs....a
remnant of her premature 2# birth weight.
Sunflower is also one of the heaviest
producers in the herd completing
a 3000# record as a two-year old. 2007 was not Sunflower's year. She
almost died giving birth
to large triplets and then developed a massive case of mastitis. We
decided
to dry her up and give her a year off to get back on her feet.
Sunflower has one leg. She has a son
out of Firestorm in the Wade Wachter herd.
Sunflower is bred to Willy Wonka
for January 3 kids. First doe
will be retained. Second doe and bucks $400.
