Where do I start? I'm usually
pretty aloof with new does....and it takes a lot to become a real
favorite but this beautiful girl has wormed her way into my heart in
just the few short months she's been here.
When I noticed on Facebook
that Jessica was offering her for sale, I could not resist. Her sire,
Kai, was the last buck kid out of our beloved Kaity. Purchased in 2010
from Mint*Leaf, Kaity because a family favorite. A smaller framed doe,
she did everything we could have ever asked of her. She finished her
championship as a 2 year old, appraised 91 VEEE and had 5 ADGA Top 10
records in her lifetime. She minded her own business, never got sick and
kidded every year until she was 12 years old. She was greatly
missed in our barn. Her last kidding we bred her to Mint*Leaf Decadent
Sins, another of my personal favorites and Kai was the result. He went
on to Celtic-Knot where he never sired a poor udder.
TimTam's maternal side is just as amazing. She is out of Celtic-Knot M
Irish Rose who appraised 92 VEEE at 6-06. She is another strong dairy
doe with an amazing mammary only in a different color scheme than her
daughter!
TimTam reminds me of Kaity so
much only she is much more of a velcro doe...she's MY girl and has been
since she stepped off the trailer. Again, a smaller framed doe like
Kaity, she just oozes general appearance and dairy strength. And that
mammary? Not much I'd change about this beautiful cookie monster!!
TimTam was shown only at the Mid-MN Classic where she was 4X 1st 5 & 6
year old, Best Udder, 1X GCH and 1X RGCH. Only one more leg to go and I
have no doubt she deserves it!!!
TimTam will be bred for February kids....breeding plans to be
decided....soon! All doe kids will be retained!! |
