Cookie is Samantha's pride and joy and she we were
thrilled when she kidded with a beautiful, tightly attached mammary.
Cookie is a tall doe with lots of dairy character and general
appearance. She stands on a very correct set of feet and legs and
has a high, wide rear udder with lots of area of attachment and
Cookie was a very lanky yearling who needed to
fill out but we expected great things from this little doe and she
didn't disappoint us when she freshened as a 2 year old. She still needs
time to mature and fill out that long body but she came in with a
stunning mammary with lots of width of rear udder and a long, smoothly
attached fore udder. Cookie was shown 7X this year and was 4X 1st, 2X
2nd, 3X GCH and 2X RGCH. She was 13th at Nationals in a very large,
competitive 2 year old class of approximately 28.
A finished champion, Cookie
was not shown last year but she continues to mature and fill out that
long body. She is one of our top milkers completing over 3000# at 1-11
with another top record in progress. She finished out last year by
appraising EX 90 (VEEE) at 3-04.
This year we made the decision
to take Cookie to the Iowa Spring Classic where she was 2X Best of Breed
doe. She was named to the 2014 ADGA Breed Leader list at #7 for Milk and
#4 for Protein. She finished out the year by again appraising EX 90 (VEEE)
As a 5 year old, Cookie is
just a lovely, competitive doe. She was 1X BOB and BUOB in a large,
competitive show and stood 15th place 5 & 6 year old at the ADGA
Cookie just never seems to
age. At 6 years she is still a competitive doe, easily holding her own
in the show ring and making the cut at the National Show and again
making a Breed Leader record for her 2016 lactation.
She will be bred to Traveler
for March kids. 1st doe will be retained.
Bucks and 2nd doe $800.
