Kolors is one of my favorites
this year. Another stunning Max daughter, her dam and granddam are very
special does. Kat was eye-catching and big from the day she was born.
Excelling in general appearance she is tall and sharp over her withers,
smoothly blended with outstanding feet and legs.
Kolors had a set back at the first show of the season. Still on the
lambar and with cold, windy temps in the barn, Kolors bloated the day
before the show. It took many hours of walking and care to get the bloat
down. While she did well in the show the next day, she came home with a
cold and immediately broke with a nasty case of ringworm....setting her
back about of month of development.
We dropped Kolors back a pen to give her a chance to catch up...she's
doing well as we go into the middle part of the summer but will be a dry
yearling for 2026. |
