What can I say? As I was
scrolling down my Facebook feed I ran across a post by Julie Matthys
advertising this big guy....and with Max getting up in years, I took the
plunge and contacted her. We can't thank her enough for sharing her
beautiful genetics.
Newly is a huge yearling with gorgeous general appearance.
One of the first things you notice about this guy is his perfectly level topline and the smoothness of blending in his shoulders
and front end assembly. And he finishes off the package with extremely
strong feet and legs and tremendous width of chest and escutcheon.
Newly's dam is the lovely CH Mint*Leaf Heidi, a powerhouse doe with
a beautiful capacious mammary that has a tremendously wide rear udder
attachment. His sire is Mint*Leaf SS Dashing who has been used so
successfully in both the Mint*Leaf and Jen-Mae-Ka Kids herds with long,
level, correct offspring.
Newly is joining the herd on October 1 so will be used heavily in our
March/April freshening does. |
